I am an Artist and Illustrator from South Wales in the U.K. I studied Illustration at the University of Westminster, London and also worked as a Scenic Artist in film, TV and Theatre for 15 years.
I am driven by curiosity to understand people and our place in the world. I’m interested in exploring the place where fantasy meets reality and what it can show us about what it means to be human. I aim to create moving and thoughtful pieces that connect to the viewer through the use of character, emotion and atmosphere. I hope to share with the audience the same sense of deep connection that I felt to the stories that have populated my own life.
I work in both digital and traditional media, often blending the two together. I am interested in character, mood, strong graphic shapes and elements of both realism and surrealism. I also enjoy playing with colour and composition, to convey vibrant, and rich narratives.
